Jolly Crofters Fundraising Team

19th February 2003

Later today saw a very interesting lecture from Gary Cousin, Consultant Oral & Maxillo Facial Surgeon at Blackburn Royal Infirmary. Gary explained the symptoms and potential damage caused by various degrees of facial injury. This was most interesting as he pointed out what we, as a MRT, might come across in the field from mountain bikers, motorbikers, climbers etc. Gary’s presentation was rounded up with a slide show of various injuries and how they were ’repaired’. All members thank Gary for a very informative evening, even Mark Parry, renowned expert on how to avoid all things squeamish, managed to stay to the end, with a slightly bowed head.
