So far this year we have had 11 potential membership enquiries, all being asked to submit initial details as to their hillwalking experience, etc. As a result 4 were invited to an Introductory evening on Tuesday, 4^th March, of which 3 turned up,including one on crutches as a result of a recent climbing accident ! (we wish her well to a full recovery). So we were really left with two fit and able people wanting to find out what about joining the team. Well hopefully we didn’t put anybody off, the next part is a full days “practical” with the team on Sunday, 9^th March. (crutches not allowed so 1 will have to await a recovery before coming out with us).
