We held another two part introduction session for new team members on Thursday evening April 24^th, and all day on Sunday April 27^th. Designed to give potential recruits an insight into joining the team – and “what it’s all about”. Of twelve candidates invited to attend, five turned up (as is now regularly the case!), and they enjoyed videos featuring the team, a series of equipment demonstrations, and practical exercises. (During an abseil/basic ropework session in Anglezarke Quarry, the five “newbies” got treated by seeing the team in action, when we attended incident 39/2003. (See below)
