Jolly Crofters Fundraising Team

9th November 2003

On Remembrance Sunday, team members once again joined with local Ramblers Groups and organisations, to pay their respects at the annual Service of Remembrance held at the Wellington bomber crash memorial, in Lead Mines Valley, Anglezarke. This annual service seems to gather a bigger audience every year, and is principally held to remember the Royal Austrailian Air Force aircrew, who all perished in a wartime crash on Anglezarke Moor, where their Wellington bomber came to grief during a navigation exercise.
