Alongside the above move, we started the transition from our Blue coloured team kit, (Buffalo jackets and Sprayway Torridon Classic Jackets) to our new KEELA clothing, in the widely accepted MRC “Corporate Red” colours.
In total we are being re-equipped with four items of KEELA clothing per team member, including a Mocha Zip Top Thermal layer, an Odin Jacket, Quantum Jacket and a Munro Jacket. This clothing system combined with our existing SLIOCH Salopettes, gives us a tremendously flexible clothing range to wear on operations and other team activities. (Not forgetting of course our summer shirts and sweatshirts, overalls, baseball caps and high viz overvests !)
The team is grateful to KEELA for their excellent support of the team, via their superb discount price offered, and to Neville at KEELA for his patience over the lead up time to our order, and for putting up with our many questions, and to Samantha and the other staff at KEELA for processing our large order so promptly.
All our KEELA clothing proudly displays the team badge, alongside the logo of BELLWAY HOMES, who supported the purchase of our KEELA clothing items.
By Wednesday, 28^th January, we hope to have completed the changeover of kit, from Blue to Red, within the current 49 strong team membership.
This does not signal retirement for our Buffalo and Sprayway Jackets however. We’re keeping it a secret at the moment, but our entire stock of these items are off to pastures new “somewhere in England“, to serve Mountain Rescue a little longer.
