On November 12th 2003, we reported the team was a beneficiary of a donation to the memory of Liam Robinson, who was accidentally killed at work, aged 35 years old. The accountants handling the donations to Liams memory have now granted to the team £689.33, this same amount also being donated to our colleagues at Langdale Ambleside Mountain Rescue Team. A donation to the North West Air Ambulance Helimed 08, helicopter ambulance was also made in Liams memory, to the sum of £1,378.64. Overall this is a very significant donation, and one that will benefit a great deal of people in the North West and the Lake District, served by ourselves and our colleagues in LAMRT and the NWAA. Our thoughts are again with the family and friends of Liam Robinson.
