Jolly Crofters Fundraising Team

20th February 2004

The first of two team social Winter Mountaineering trips to the Cairngorms returned back to Bolton this evening.
Four team members journeyed north, for the snow and ice, staying in Aviemore.
Although conditions in the Cairngorm Corries were not excellent, our team members still found some sport in the gullies, and polished up on their Ice axe and crampon skills.
Enjoying a busmans holiday of sorts, they also managed to sqeeze in a day trip to RAF Kinloss, where they were made most welcome with a visit to the RAF Aeronautical Rescue Co-Ordination Centre, (ARCCK), and the RAF Kinloss Mountain Rescue Team.
