At 13:55 Hrs, the team was paged by GMAS, requesting assistance at an incident at Horwich Park Golf Club. One of their vehicles had been called to attend to a young man who had a suspected fracture dislocation of his left knee. When the crew had safely recovered the young man to their vehicle, the crew had difficulties in turning the vehicle around and subsequently became bogged down in mud.
Three of our team vehicles responded to the incident and the first vehicle arrived on scene at 14:22. The casualty was subsequently transferred by the team from the first GMAS ambulance to a second GMAS ambulance and then transported to hospital. The team then recovered the first vehicle and the incident was concluded successfully at 14:48.

Forever immortalized on the BMRT website, the infamous crew of GMAS ambulance N172 proudly pose with their trophy of the day’s activities – namely a section of bumper that had parted company from their vehicle!
