Today Dave Marsh, our dog handler and his dog Chi, concluded a two day exercise joint with GMFRS Fire Officer Mike Dewar, and his search dog, based on a collapsed building scenario, utilising the derelict Fletcher Mill building in Kearsley. Both Dave and Mike are learning a lot about each other’s seperate search dog skills in this operating environment, which will help in the event of the two types of search dog working together in the future.
