Just after midday the team was contacted by GMP regards a missing 69 year old male in the Cadishead area of Greater Manchester. The team’s search dog, search personnel, and our kayak team were all requested. 14 team members including our dog were able to respond on this workday afternoon callout which had a sad outcome when members of the Police underwater search unit found the missing person’s body in Glazebrook, near to the point he was last seen. With other members due to arrive to join in the search the team was stood down.
