The team today, as in previous years, was happy to provide standby safety cover for this annual event. Over 200 walkers took part along the well-recognised route, raising, we understand, an estimated £6000 for charities and local good causes. 14 team members in our 4 team vehicles were immediately on hand to assist during the event, but fortunately only had to deal with an exhausted walker, almost at the end of the route. The team is proud to be associated with this event and help support the good work of the Rotary Club of Darwen.
