With thanks to The Rescue Organisation Equipment Loan Scheme, the team today received the donation of a Magellan SporTrak colour GPS mapping receiver.

This is the first GPS handheld unit to be owned by the team, although many team members make individual personal use of GPS units and two of our four Landrovers are equipped with GPS tracking and navigation equipment.

The team is especially grateful to Mr. and Mrs. G. Griffiths of Swansea, the trustees of ROELS.

It is likely that this unit will be based within our new Control Trailer, which is currently nearing completion.
