Jolly Crofters Fundraising Team

22nd June 2005

27 team members attended the early evening Lever Park run, organised by Horwich RMI&AC, on this very warm night. 159 competitors took part in this open registration event, which started on the rear tracks of Lever Park and ascended onto Belmont Road, thence via the Pigeon Tower, Lower House, and a return to the start location.

There were no incidents arising, that is if we discount the mass midge attack on our members and race officials who provided this evening’s blood meal for the notorious midges of Rivington.
