Whilst in the team area, one of our Landrover ambulances chanced upon an RTC, involving a solitary motorcyclist, who apparently had been in collision with a ’hit & run’ vehicle. At this same time, we were also contacted by both LAS and then GMAS to attend this same incident in advance of emergency ambulances attending. Other team members in team vehicles were called to the same location, on the narrow moorland road between Rivington & Belmont, to provide road safety and assist the responding ambulance.
