We are sad to announce today the retirement of team member Richard Janicki. Richard, besides being a callout list member, contributed a tremendous amount of his personal time, in his capacity as a self-employed builder, in carrying out a lot of the heavier building works at our LBH base, including (with some help) the construction of our mixed toilet & shower block, and the unsavoury task of making the drain connections. Richard will be missed by the team, not least his sheer physical presence (not for nothing was he nicknamed in the team, “Shrek”). Richard has had to stand down from the team due to work commitments increasingly taking him away from the team area. The whole team wishes Richard and his young family well for the future.
