Further to very kind comments expressed in a letter published in the Bolton Evening News about the Team’s involvement in this incident, where a young climber had fallen injurying his back in Ousel Nest Quarry. We received today a very kind personal letter of thanks from the father of the climber involved, who was with him at the time of the accident. His father who is a Doctor at Royal Bolton Hospital expressed his gratitude to the Team for our involvement in the rescue of his son and also updated us on his continuing good recovery. Enclosed with the letter was an extremely generous donation of £250 to the Team.

The whole Team wishes the young climber involved our continuing best wishes to full health and a return to climbing.
