At 13:52, with some team vehicles just returning to the base location from the search in Bury (see Incident 31/2006), the team was paged by Lancashire Constabulary, to assist LAS with an incident at Rivington, A 65 year old woman had fractured her leg.

Some members were therefore able to make an immediate response. All responding team members were stood down with the news that Helimed 08 had managed to directly access the casualty and airlifted her to Royal Bolton Hospital.
