GMAS requested the team’s help late this afternoon with direct assistance duties for a GMAS peak demand period.
The team was asked to place its four Mountain Rescue Landrovers on full standby at our Ladybridge Hall base, and to respond at the direction of GMAS Paramedic Emergency Control. The first call was attended at 15:23 with 13 calls in total, and twenty-three team members involved. (Code Green, Amber and Red calls). The team was stood down by GMAS at 23:10 and the final incident was completed at 00:05 on Monday morning.
During the period the team assisted at a wide range of incidents, including patients with conditions of chest pains, and also a CVA. Summary details of all incidents attended can be found on our incident database for 2006.
