The team was called out at 23:07 today after a request from GMP regards a missing 78 year old male from the Horwich area. The man had been last seen at around 8pm the previous day and there was concern for his welfare.

The team searched the areas of open land surrounding Horwich including Red Moss. We were stood down at around 3AM that morning having completed all assigned search areas with a negative result.

Fortunately news came through the following morning that the man had been found safe & well by the Police, in an industrial estate on the outskirts of the town.
