Jolly Crofters Fundraising Team

23rd October 2006

Following our involvement in the search for the Reverend Michael Robinson in May of this year which had such a tragic outcome, (see Incidents 75/76-2006) the team has received a graet many donations since from family, friends, members of his Church and well wishers, alongside that of villagers.

Today we received the surprise donation via the widow of the Reverend Michael Robinson of £260.76, from Bowden Church of England (Aided) Primary School, Grange Road, Bowden, Cheshire.

The donation from the school came with a compliments slip stating, “this money was raised by the school children by selling cakes. Please send to Bolton Mountain Rescue, Thankyou.

The team is very grateful to the kind support of all at Bowden Church School, children, teachers, parents and school supporters, and their very kind gesture in raising money for the team.

The total amount now raised arising from the teams involvement in this search operation now stands at £3,412.22.
