Ten of our newer team members, who all joined after we held our last (100% all team members pass rate at the time) Mountain Rescue England and Wales Casualty Care Certificate Course, recently underwent their own intensive training course to fully prepare them for their written examination paper.
This evening under the watchful eye of three invigilators from our colleagues at Rossendale and Pendle MRT, all ten members sucessfully passed their written paper examination, with smiles all round. (Thanks to Doctor Bob Stokes, Steve Hatton and Stewart Greenwood of RPMRT for coming across to invigilate for us)
More pleased than most was team member Alistair Greenough, an A&E Nurse outside of the team, who organised the course and so ably provided much of the input, alongside other helpers from NWAS. All ten will shortly sit their practical examination, which fingers crossed will be as successful as their written paper.
Well done folks from those of us in the team who have been there before & before & before !
