At 12:40 today our Team Leader was contacted by GMP regards the teams assistance in the ongoing search operation for a missing 75 years old woman in the Carrington area of Greater Manchester.

Our Team Leader commenced initial discussions with a Police Missing Person Search Manager, regarding the likely search areas, and also made arrangements for our Deputy Leader to liaise on scene with the Police (and very importantly our Catering Officer was forewarned of the likely search).

By 12:50 the full team had been paged to go to standby, when fortunately on going Police investigations traced the missing woman to having been admitted into hospital.

The team was stood down 14 minutes from the initial call.
