At 18:29 Hrs North West Ambulance Service (Lancashire Locality) contacted the Team Leader with regards to assistance in the Rivington Area.

At 18:35 Hrs a Full Team call out pager message was sent and our first member on scene arrived at 18:40 Hrs. He found the casualty being wheeled on an Ambulance chair to the waiting Ambulance, so the Team was stood down at 18:45 Hrs.

The young lad had been enjoying the sunny weather on the shores of Lower Rivington Reservoir and had tripped and fallen over a large rock, resulting in a suspected fracture of the lower right leg.
