After ten years of sterling service in the post, Peter Phillips, Team Leader of Holme Valley MRT, a colleague team to ours in the Mid Pennine Search and Rescue Organisation (our Regional MR body) has stood down from this demanding post.

All at Bolton MRT who know Peter wish him well in his retirement (He’s now back to being an ’ordinary’ team member).

His former Deputy Leader, Gillian Howarth, has taken up the role of Holme Valley’s new Team Leader, and we all wish her every success in this position.
