On Saturday May 5th, the team provided standby rescue cover for the Belmont Winter Hill Fell Races, (see news entry for this date, and Incident 86 arising from the same).

Today we received a very generous donation of £220.00 from the organiser of the event, Dave Bateson, as a thank you for the teams attendance at this years event.
Dave kindly mentioned in his letter accompanying the wonderful donation, “It’s stating the obvious that the races could not be held without your attendance so I am extremely grateful for your teams continued support.”

Next years event is scheduled for Saturday May 10th, and as ever the team will be on hand to provide standby rescue cover for the various junior and senior races.
The team is very happy to be associated with the Belmont Fell Races, and in turn is very grateful to the organiser for his long standing and generous support of the team.
