North West Ambulance Service (Greater Manchester Area) paged the team at 23:10 Hrs, for assistance with reports of a young male fitting within a field at Altrincham, South Manchester.

One problem on this incident, was the exact location of the young male was not known and this Spot Pickup – an incident where the location of the casualty is known – was changing into a Search – an incident where the location of the casualty is not known. An update came through to suggest the casualty may be within the Altrincham Golf Course.

At 23:30 Hrs all four Landrover Ambulances were responding to this incident, when NWAS(GMA) contacted the Team Leader, to say our resources were no longer required. A stand down message was paged and vehicles returned to their base locations.

Together 4 Team Vehicles and 30 Members were responding to this incident on the Southern edge of our opertaional area.
