We are delighted to report the fantastic donation of £211.00 raised by the members of Heaton Women’s Institute for the team recently, as a result we understand of various activities carried out to raise money for the team at their Coffee morning of Wednesday 16th May 2007.

This donation comes after a very kind £30.00 donation received from the Heaton Women’s Institute when we visited them to present a lecture on the Team on the 10th April this year.

The generosity and support of those who seek to help us is always appreciated and never taken for granted, with the team ploughing everything straight back into providing a first rate totally voluntary Search & Rescue service to our local community, and in providing direct assistance to the Police, Ambulance and Fire Services whenever they require our specialist help and assistance.
