We received the very pleasant news today that following on from our team readily agreeing to support the Liverpool World Firefighter Games 2008, (specifically the run section of the Rivington Triathlon event) on Sunday 31st August 2008, Merseyside Fire and Rescue Service have confirmed that they have made a £250.00 donation to the team to support the work we do.

This is a very generous gesture by the Merseyside Fire and Rescue Authority, and we are all keeping fingers crossed for the weather on Sunday 31st August 2008 in Rivington to be fine and sunny.
