We have previously recorded on the 8th and 13th of September, total donations of £75 in celebration of the September 8th marriage of Andrew and Shirley Staveley of Pall Mall Cottages, Rivington Lane, Rivington.

Andrew and Shirley have decided that in lieu of presents at their wedding, guests were kindly asked to consider donation to either Bolton Mountain Rescue Team or the brain tumor research and support charity, “Andrea’s Gift”.

We are pleased to announce today the receipt of a large number of individual donations totalling £225 to the team, all in celebration of the marriage of Andy to Shirley.

The team thanks all Andy and Shirley’s wedding guests for their very kind donations, thoughts and support.

Such generosity and support shown to the team is always humbling and more so in cases such as this when kind people put the support of other charities before themselves.

This makes a total of £300 of kind donations made at the wedding of Andy and Shirley.
