We have learnt from the President Elect Jean Mort, of Soroptimist International of Bolton, which is a part of the international service organisation for women in management and the professions, that in 2008-2009 they would like to support the work of our team, as part of their overall support for charitable causes.

As such (although a long way off) we have been invited to one of their evening meetings in June next year, to explain the workings of the team.

Many organisations are now choosing to support the team as part of their overall fundraising efforts and in some cases we are chosen as their ’Charity of the Year’, or their ’President’s/Chairman’s Charity’, for example.

Such support is always gratefully welcomed by the team, is fully acknowledged by the team via our website, and where and when it can be arranged through our many friends in the local press and radio.
