Jolly Crofters Fundraising Team

9th October 2007

This evening the team was very happy to receive a £100 donation to team funds from the Bolton South District Scouts. The Scout District ran a successful camp for Cubs and their parents at Bibby’s Farm earlier this year, and the District decided to donate part of the camp’s profits to charity.

The camp’s catering team – comprised of the orgainsers from the Pike View Hike, a Scout hiking event that the team provides an annual standby safety cover for – were asked to nominate a charity, and Bolton MRT were chosen as the recipient!

The team would like to thank the Scout District’s Leaders, Cub Scouts (and their Parents) for thinking of the team and making this fantastic donation possible.
