As part of NWAS (GMA) pre arranged plan to cope with peak demand calls on this festive season night, the Team was mobilised to directly assist NWAS (GMA) with ambulance calls throughout the evening, alongside our colleagues in the St John Ambulance Brigade.

11 Team members mobilised to crew our control function, setup at our Ladybridge Hall base and 3 Team vehicles placed at the disposal of NWAS (GMA), together with 3 partners and wives whom provided catering for all concerned. Our thanks are passed to Johanne, Mandy & Carol for the excellent food provided.

2 Team members were at PEC Belle Vue for a briefing on the evenings events at 18:00 Hrs & the remaining Team members were available from 19:00 Hrs, at our Ladybridge Hall Base / HQ. The first job being tasked at 19:28 Hrs (Our Incident 197/2007). The last job of 2007 came in at 23:58 Hrs (Our Incident 206/2007) on the night of 31st December, New Year’s Eve.

In total 6 Urgents, 1 Code Amber & 3 Code Red calls were dealt with on New Year’s Eve.

We remain on standby for NWAS (GMA) untill the early hours of New Year’s Day.
