Jolly Crofters Fundraising Team

11th April 2008

On Wednesday April 2nd team members Fred Taylor and Sue Purtill spent all day with the pupils and staff of St Paul’s C.E. Primary School, Crompton Street Walkden, Worsley, on a mountain rescue awareness day (see news item dated April 2nd 2008).

Today we received a great many letters from the pupils at St Pauls school along with a nice card of thanks from the staff and all the pupils.

All the letters were very interesting for us to read and it was obvious from the letters how much the children had all enjoyed our visit. Fred and Sue commented that receiving the letters of thanks had made their visit all the more worthwhile.
