Jolly Crofters Fundraising Team

16th April 2008

Today, team members and prospective search dog handlers Alistair Greenhough and Steve Nelson, accompianied by former callout list member & search dog handler Dave Marsh attended the second of five first aid training sessions aimed at looking after injured dogs (i.e. search dogs)

The sessions have covered management of fractures, assessment of the injured animal and even CPR. The lecturer is a veterinary nurse lecturer at Myerscough College, Preston.

Hopefully the skills learnt on the course will never need to be used but they are always useful to know!
