This evening a large number of Scouts and Leaders from the 25th Warrington East Scout Troup (St Wilfrid’s, Grappenhall) visited the Team for a tour of our base, mountain safety lectures & a team equipment demonstration.

4 Team members were on hand to meet and greet everyone, by all accounts an interesting evening was had by all.

The 25th Warrington East Scout Troup (St Wilfrid’s, Grappenhall) are great & valued supporters of the Team and as a Scout Troup have raised a large amount of money for us in the past.

This year they have kindly decided to support us as their Christmas Charity 2008 and as such each Scout in the group will be taking a Team collecting tin, to be returned to the Team at this years end.

Our Team Leader in association with our Training Officer has agreed to arrange 1st, 2nd & 3rd prizes for those Scouts raising the most money, this prizes will entail training opportunities and days out with Bolton MRT.
