Today we are very pleased to announce the receipt of £35 from Dave Lane of Swinton, the author of the “Winter Hill Scrapbook”, a book on the history of Winter Hill and surrounding area which is made freely available by Dave to anyone who wants a copy.

Dave is a very long standing friend of the team and of Garry our Team Leader, and he has also supported the team’s 250 Club for many years now.

The donation came to Dave as a direct result of his scrapbook, and he chose to donate the money straight to the team which is a wonderful gesture.
