Today, North West Ambulance Service (Greater Manchester Area) telephoned our Team Leader, to give the Team a heads up for our possible involvement in a body recovery within a wooded area at Drinkwater Park, Agecroft, Salford.

As Garry was on the train heading towards London for his investiture, he passed the call to our DTL Geoff Seddon and Dave Healey. Geoff liased with NWAS (GMA) & GMP, but as it was now a police investigation, it looked unlikely that the immediate response from the Team would be required. This was later confirmed an hour later when the Team was no longer required.

Later on in the afternoon, it was established by GMP that the female found was the missing person from the search on Friday 25th April.
