Jolly Crofters Fundraising Team

21st May 2008

This evening, one of the sisters of the man who sadly drowned in a tragic accident at Anglezarke Reservoir exactly a week ago, visited the home of our Team Leader Garry Rhodes.

Unfortunately our TL was away on a Team exercise at the time, but the sister involved, Mrs Mather, passed on to our TL’s partner Ann a very kind letter of thanks to the Team, along with a donation, thanking us for our help in the tragic accident that involved her brother.

Mrs Mather, in her grieving, expressed many kind comments to our Team for our role on that tragic night, including the very thoughtful comment “…I think what you do out of the goodness of your hearts is a wonderful thing…”

Our condolences are expressed to Mrs Mather & all the family of the man who sadly drowned, Andrew Smith. See also article on #article#1972#Incident 57/2008#.
