We are pleased to announce the receipt today of a £75 donation from Horwich New Heart Club following our provision of standby rescue cover at Horwich New Heart Club’s annual Rivington Pike sponsored walk on Sunday May 18th this year (see seperate article)

In a letter with the donation, long term team friend Roger Bunyan, Chair of Horwich New Heart Club, stated “we very much appreciate your assistance with our event, it brings professionalism and assurance for many of our walkers, many of whom had received heart transplants, open heart and other major surgery”.

The team has been associated with this event for a long period now and looks forward to supporting their Pike event next year on Sunday 17th May 2009.
