This evening, the team was honoured to receive as its guest Mike Wilkinson, the Managing Director of Preston-based Wilkinson Mobile Catering (constructors and suppliers of mobile catering trailer units).

Mike had journeyed to our Team base to officially handover our brand new catering trailer to the team and into team operational service.

The team had asked Mike Wilkinson to cut a ribbon around the trailer to inaugurate its use. Our Team Leader Garry Rhodes had previously introduced Mike to the team and on behalf of the team thanked him for his generous support of the team by his kind offer of supplying the trailer at a discounted price.

Team Catering Officer Sue Purtill and Mike Wilkinson, of Wilkinson Mobile Catering Units, cut the ribbon on the team’s new catering trailer.

Following the ribbon cutting ceremony our Life Vice President Tony McNally thanked Mike for his part in this evening’s proceedings.

Thanks are also expressed to our long standing friend and team supporter Frank Hulton of Frank Hulton Motor Engineers Ltd, Farnworth, who did such a superb job with this trailer regarding the signage, decals and hazard striping.

The team is now looking forward to using this trailer which will be a wonderful addition to the resources at the disposal of the team.
