Congratulations to our avid website readers Alan Pinnington, Alex Bullock and Dave Marsh, all of whom correctly guessed that the “Big Yellow Thing” coming soon to Bolton MRT is the MREW Hummer H3, which is doing tours of Mountain Rescue Teams around the England & Wales as part of the MREW’s 75th anniversary year.

All being well, we’ll be taking delivery of the vehicle tomorrow. Residents of Bolton and the surrounding area, keep an eye out for this highly conspiuous vehicle over the next few weeks as it’ll be visiting a number of places during its stay with the team, and will also be attending any callouts and rescues that the team is called to whilst it’s with us.
