Jolly Crofters Fundraising Team

29th November 2008

At the conclusion of incident 115/2008 with our BM2 vehicle still at Wigan Hospital and our three other vehicles returning to our Ladybridge Hall Base/HQ, we received a second callout from NWAS (Manchester) to the report of another sports player injured on yet another playing field complex requiring our assistance.

Our BM1, 3, 4 vehicles responded being joined by BM5 (the ’Hummer’) which along with its crew had just ended its participation in the off-road driver training day.

During the response the team was stood down and whilst returning to base was called to another sports injury incident (Incident 116/2008).

This Northern Moor, Manchester incident has not been featured in our incident statistics and is here merely for information.
