This evening our Team Leader Garry Rhodes MBE gave a presentation on the role and work of the team to the assembled members of the Bolton Voluntary Agencies regular meeting, as part of a networking event.

A very interesting presentation by GMFRS Fire Officer Brian Wiggins also took place regarding his role as a GMFRS D.I.M.Officer, under ’New Dimensions’.
Standing for Detection, Identification and Monitoring, this important role under ’New Dimensions’ equips UK Fire Services with the ability to investigate the exact nature of CBRN agents, (Chemical, Bacteriological, Radiation & Nuclear)
