Today we received a very kind donation of £225 from our friends at St Marys Horwich and the ’medium’ walkers of Chorley U3A (The University of the Third Age).
Included with this extremely generous seasonal donation was a Christmas card signed by all the walkers of both clubs to the team including many kind comments written by the walkers. Below are a selection:
The team would like to thank St Marys, Horwich and the ’medium’ walkers of Chorley U3A for their continuing support (the group donated £180 to the team last December, see news article dated Friday 21st December 2007) and wish them happy rambling this Christmas.
