This evening before team members departed our Ladybridge Hall base for the evenings exercise they were met by team friend and supporter Jackie Mather, who handed over a Christmas card to the team and a large tin of Cadbury Roses chocolates.

Jackie has become a valued friend of the team through tragic personal circumstances involving her brother Andrew Smith who sadly lost his life saving the life of his partners daughter, in a terrible drowning accident in Anglezarke reservoir on the 14^th May this year.

All the team extends its Christmas wishes to Jackie and the other family members of the late Andrew Smith at what must be a sad personal time for them mixed with the knowledge that Andrew Smith died saving another.
