Today Team callout member Fred Taylor, the Mid Pennine Search & Rescue water representative, hosted a Mountain Rescue England & Wales Water Safety Meeting at our Ladybridge Hall Base / HQ.

The group regularly meet and are creating a course to provide a template for water safety and bank-side safety for mountain rescue team members, not just for members of MPSRO, but for Mountain Rescue teams across the UK.

The work the group did yesterday will be used for a pilot course to be held in North Wales on 24th and 25th April.
