This evening Team Call Out list members Elaine Gilliland and Paul Brain joined with members of Darwen Dashers Running Club for their ’Full Moon Walk Series, Spring Stroll’ event.
Darwen Dashers kindly decided to hold this evenings event as a fundraiser for the team, amongst their members taking part.
Commencing at the Sunnyhurst Inn on the fringe of the moors above Darwen at 19.30hrs this evening, all proceeded to the Royal Arms at Roddlesworth for a welcome pint and a chip butty, then out again for the return leg.
Elaine and Paul were very pleased to accept a £24.00 donation to the team from the Darwen Dashers Running Club members who took part in this ’ Full Moon Walk, Spring Stroll’ event, they apparently also accepted some chips as well on behalf of the team, and reported that they tasted excellent.
