Today we received a very kind £20.00 donation from Dr Phil Ashton of Northwich, Cheshire.

In a letter with this generous donation, Dr Phil Ashton stated; “I recently had the good fortune to have one of my climbing photos published in the new Western Grit guide, and for this I received a cheque for £20.00. As a regular climber at Wilton, I think it is more fitting that the Bolton MRT have the money.“

The whole team is very grateful to Dr Phil Ashton for this donation, and our ’Monday night climbing group’ of current and former team members will look out for him whenever they are in the Wilton Quarries to say a personal thank you.
