Tonight the Team played host to 20 members of Rainford Young Farmers Group, who had journeyed to our Base / HQ for a presentation on the Team, after their initial visit in February was cancelled due to the extreme wintry weather.

This evening team member Dave Healey & probationary member Ana Toole, gave a power point presentation on Who, What, Where & Why mountain rescue exsists, especially in the Bolton area.

After the presentation, the group moved downstairs to have a look at the equipment carried in one of our first response Land Rover Ambulances.

Great interest was shown in what we carried & also in the ’Body Bags’ !!

Dave & Ana would like to thank the group for their visit to us and hope the slide show wasn’t too boring and look forward to perhaps seeing one or two of the group as exercise casualties soon.
