On the evening of Thursday 4th June this summer, we provided Standby Rescue Cover for the Hendersons End Fell Race on the moorland of Rivington Moor and Winter Hill, organised by Lostock Athletics Club.
Today the team received a very generous donation of £200.00 from John Smith (Chairman) and Adrian Hope (Fell Running Captain) of Lostock Athletics Club, thanking the team membership for its help and involvement in this event, which of course the team is happy to support.
Next year’s Hendersons End Fell Race event organised by Lostock Athletics Club is currently scheduled for Thursday evening 5th June 2010, and as ever the team will be there in strength providing its usual high standard Standby Rescue Cover provision.
